Dr. Nachman Brautbar is board certified in internal medicine, forensic medicine, and nephrology, with a specialization in toxicology. Dr. Brautbar is a medical professor at USC,School of Medicine; has published over 230 journal articles, manuscripts, abstracts, and book chapters; and has been a visiting professor at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Mayo Clinic, Harvard & Yale, among others. He has been a peer-reviewer for the Federal Judicial Center, Agency for Toxic Disease and Substance Registry (ATSDR), and the Department of Public Health and Human Services, among others. His resume includes membership in 25 national and international societies. Dr. Brautbar is a Fellow of the Collegium Ramazzini and a member of the Society of Toxicology, among others. Dr. Brautbar actively practices medicine and is the Vice-Chairman of the Department of Medicine at the Queen of Angels/Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. He has been the lead expert in toxic exposure, product liability, and standard of care cases across the country. He has testified for the State of California and the U.S. Senate on toxicological water contamination. Dr. Brautbar is available to examine patients, review records, and provide medical-legal forensic opinion in all states.
