Martin Hanek, born 1957, studied chemistry at the University Erlangen. He obtained Ph. D. in organic chemistry in 1988 at the Institute for Organic Chemistry at Erlangen with a dissertation on the field of the design of synthons for 1,3-dianions. He joined the Dr. O.K. Wack Chemie GmbH in 1989 and is as head of research and development since 1994 responsible for the segments of industrial cleaners and car care products. He has published more than 15 articles on synthon chemistry and industrial cleaning applications since now.He obtained several patents on industrial cleaning agents and cleaning processes in the area of precision cleaning.
