Dave Reeves is a Senior Environmental Engineer with Midwest Research Institute (MRI) located near Research Triangle Park, North Carolina. Mr. Reeves graduated from Virginia Tech in 1982 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. Prior to joining MRI, Mr. Reeves worked in the computer (hard disk) manufacturing industry with Control Data and the Stolle Corporation. Since joining MRI, Mr. Reeves has worked on a variety of NESHAP and CTG projects involving the aerospace, shipbuilding and ship repair, wood furniture manufacturing, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper, and chromium electroplating industries. He is currently leading two surface coating NESHAP projects: wood building products and metal can manufacturing. Mr. Reeves' thin-film plating (computer disk) experience has been utilized on many of these projects which involve surface coatings and solvents and controlling their associated emissions.
